Inventive Engineer Poster Contest
Facilitated student presentations in the classroom available!
Due 25 February, 2023
The theme this year is: Think about “it”: Imagine! The life and accomplishments of Thomas Edison and Leonardo Da Vinci were researched and quoted in previous contests. This year, an American inventor called Samuel Morse will be added to the picture. Samuel Morse was the father of today's cell phone communications. By inventing the telegraph, he connected a huge part of America, allowing for economic growth and fast communications throughout all of America. Samuel Morse played a huge part in making talking to a friend just a few buttons away, making the world a better place. Enlighten yourself on the accomplishments of past inventors and apply STEM plus Art principles to express your imagination, passion and skill! STEAM ahead! (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math)
Submit an “Inventive Engineer Poster” that will be judged and showcased. The inventions and building/land use designs illustrate and derive from a thinking process, work ethic, and creative application of curiosity! Be inspired by noting accomplishments of others and draw upon what you have learned and experienced or researched to be creative!
